Funny, exciting and sometimes action-packed vegan-friendly children's comics, stories, picture books and nursery rhymes, FREE TO READ HERE and available in paperback from our bookshop.
Just bought a few packs of Jammie Dodgers. I am totally the vegan who buys snacks just because they’re vegan! But since I haven’t had one in years, our tea today should be exciting. 😀
Aw, Karen, I feel your pain. I didn’t mention this before because I didn’t want to dampen your jammie dodger glee, but in actual fact, because of the fact that the sugars in products like this are more than likely processed with bone char, they’re not really vegan anyway 😦 See here Apparently sugars from sugar beet are not processed in this way, and nor is organic sugar.
I’ve been thinking about becoming a vegan for a while now, after giving up meat 2 years ago. Thanks for this!

Downloaded and printed the Ploughman’s Lunch. Always wanted a good recipe for this. Last one I had was in a pub in Edinburgh before we left Scotland.

I’ve been vegan for a few years now and I had no idea Jammie Dodgers were vegan. I’m running out of excuses not to stuff my face with biscuits. 😀

For the best, then. Have found some tasty cookies from http://www.ginnybakes.com that seem to be a go, so I’ll still have something with my tea. 🙂
